Commissioned as a real estate office in Bayport, Minnesota, this design and build project lies on a hillside overlooking the St. Croix River. Orienting itself towards the water, the office space provides vast views to the river. With a simple program including an outdoor patio and barbeque space, the construction methods for this project were carefully chosen to maximize value while keeping construction costs low. Utilizing structurally insulated panels for its structure, the building envelope is wrapped in extruded concrete boards and corrugated steel for its durable and low-maintenance characteristics.
